Last week I was reminded of my message, my mission. My purpose for combining fitness, faith, family. Someone messaged me saying they never feel good enough, even when they were at their fittest they still felt unworthy. I shared my thoughts with her and I pray that she can see herself as God sees her. But I need to remind you all of this too (along with myself). What lens are you looking at yourself though? Are you comparing yourself to others? Are you putting societies standards on yourself? Because if there's one thing you should know it's this, You. ARE. Enough. You don't have to lose weight to matter. You don't have to diet to be beautiful. You don't have to be a certain size to go after your dreams. You don't have to fear getting older. Exercise is wonderful and great for self care, but doing it because you think you will matter more, be more beautiful, or make you worthy are all false and fleeting reasons. The enemy wants you to think you will never be enough so you don't carry out the plans God has for you. He wants to paralyze you and keep you from shining Christ's light. He wants to hold you back from all the things God has in store for you. But let me tell you that when Christ is in you, you are more than enough. You don't have to chase the things of this world to matter. You already matter. As you pursue Christ you will start to see yourself as He sees you--beautiful and made in His holy image. ❤️

#transformationtuesday 37 weeks in, 12 weeks out. Same clothes, same angle, same hair 😂 Can't believe it's been 3 months (tomorrow) since the boy was born! Still have another 5lbs to go before I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Day 2 of my 80 day journey is DONE! These past two days have been 60 minute workouts and I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to last, but I have and it feels SO good. I love taking my body to new heights and doing things that my mind told me I couldn’t. . Let me just tell you, glute bridges are HIGHLY underrated. These were intense and you could feel exactly where the target was. Keep your heels touching, toes turned out, knees apart and pulse slowly for 60 seconds. You. Will. Feel. It. I don’t even have my bands yet so I can’t imagine the burn with those! . Love your body, love your mind.

⚡️BACK/BI UPPER BODY SLAY⚡️ . These are some of my fave dumbbell and barbell moves for the upper body muscle groups! While it is hands down advantageous to utilize both machines AND free weights in your training as both have benefits, I find lifting free weights more challenging because stabilization and core strength come massively into play more so than with machines. This means you probably won’t be able to lift as heavy as you would performing a similar exercise on a machine, but it also means you’re getting an ab workout while you’re at it, which you know I L O V E 🙌🔥😉 . Unilateral Bent Over Dumbell Row Pull-Ups (not shown here) Bilateral Bent Over Dumbell Rows Standing Barbell Bicep Curls (triple set with) Alternating Bicep Curls Bilateral Standing Hammer Curls . To make this into a full upper body session perform 4 drop sets of 8,8,6,6 reps of each, resting 1 min between sets (minus the triple set where you go directly from one move to the next & rest after all three are complete.⚡️

I used to look at fitness as a project. If I had a trip or event that I wanted to look good for - THEN I'd take care of myself. .⠀ Guess how well that served me... NOT at all! .
