Self improvement and motivation tie in together pretty closely and for me it always comes back to the weight room and the things it teaches you that can be directly related back to life situations as literal metaphors that are closer to real life than you might first think. . There is a thing about self improvement, people want to improve themselves and are constantly looking for that one book or the one piece of advise that will push them over the tipping point and into the place they want to be at. The motivation ties in closely because people remain motivated as long as they feel they are getting closer to this tipping point where basically the flood gates open and their ultimate goals are basically come running at them. . The thing with self improvement is that it's actually not a moment, it's more a process that happens over time. Your actions every day lead to self improvement as they build up if they are targetted in that direction ofcourse, for example if you care about what others think of you (as long as you are doing something positive and constructive that adds value to your life and those around you) you are literally losing time you will never get back. This is self destruction. Self improvement is something that you embody daily and as a life style and it's a place you get to that's in relation to where you were not an ultimate destination, at least not initially and not until quite some time has passed. . So i know it's Sunday and so many of you are dreading that tomorrow is Monday but if you are looking to progress then you better know what direction you are going in and knowing that motivation can stay higher when you realize that where you want to get to (your version of self improvement) is happening every day even though you arent realising it. You can speed it up though by doing 2 things: 1. Getting around more people who want to get to the same place as you 2. Giving someone who has already been there some authority to hold you accountable . The above 2 is exactly what we do at Adonis Athletics and i really believe it's the reason why we get people to hit goals and tell us "this is the longest gym membership i've ever had in my life".

🔥Awesome Bench Class today🔥 - Today we revisited set up for bench press focusing on full body tightness and attempting to achieve an arch. Following this we drilled in an “ideal” bar bath. Everyone progressed brilliantly once this started to click. - One more session left on this course before we move on to DEADLIFT. Had a lot of fun teaching these classes, I am looking to continue Powerlifting based courses as they become a regular fixture at MPfit. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
