HOW MUCH CARDIO? This is one of the most common questions I have had this week 🔥 My answer?? Very minimal!! My fat loss comes down to weight training and nutrition tailor made to my goals/body/lifestyle 😄 When leaning down I will do HIIT about 2x a week and maybe 1x stair master session. The HIIT workouts can be sprints on a bike/treadmill/rower or a circuit like this one 😍 I love to mix it up! If you liked my last leg day superset, then you are really going to love this one! In the first part of the video, I am executing Reverse Lunges on the Smith Machine (less room for error because of the fixed bar path) and then I superset with Straight Leg Deadlifts on the Hack Squat Machine. I alternated between both movements and completed 4 sets of 15. (Note: For the Reverse Lunges, left leg back, followed by right leg back equals 1 rep). Slow and controlled movement is the key. My focus for these two movements was to feel it ONLY in my glutes and hamstrings. When training, ask yourself where you are feeling it? What is your goal? 🤔 There are so many different ways to activate specific areas of the body. To make sure your muscles are firing evenly be sure to incorporate proper foam rolling techniques, include static stretching and dynamic stretching on a regular basis, and get tissue work done. Ahí va una buena chapa, con la que lo único que pretendo es autoconvencerme a mi misma que no siempre se puede estar al 💯 x 💯 , que hasta los más fuertes lloran, y que no pasa nada por tener épocas en las que te sientas más flojo. Es lo típico que ves clarísimo desde fuera pero que cuando le pasa a uno mismo no se lleva tan bien; es totalmente imposible rendir al 💯 x 💯 todos y cada uno de los días del año, a las mujeres además se nos suma nuestra revolución hormonal con lo que todo eso conlleva... por eso es tan importante respetar los descansos, comer bien y escuchar al cuerpo. Llevo casi un mes que no entreno como querría , no me siento fuerte y me cuesta encontrar la motivación que siempre he tenido, añado los nervios de pensar en mi primera competición individual, que me hacen entrar en bucle 🤪Mi cuerpo adaptándose a mi cambio de alimentación; cambios en el trabajo, nuevos horarios e intentos de organizarme para sacar horas de entreno....... Y un largo etc etc de cosas, que no son excusas, porque no pienso ponerlas; pero que me cabrean de mala manera.... me jode no estar en modo “Wonder Woman “ 🙅‍♀️pero supongo que los superhéroes también descansan de salvar al mundo de vez en cuando. Así que lo único que se puede hacer es escuchar al cuerpo, saber que puedes conseguir lo que te propongas y que todos tenemos momentos de bajón....
