Shrimp burrito bowls for lunch? 🙋🏻‍♀️ you can replace the shrimps with chicken or omit it all together. What you need (to make 4 bowls): 20 large shrimps 1 cup quinoa 2 bay leaves 1 can black beans 1/2 onion (chopped) Juice from 1 lime Bunch of cilantro (chopped) 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes 2 tbsp olive oil Toppings: tomato, sweet corn and avocado ______________ Boil quinoa with bay leaves. Remove bay leaves, add lime juice and cilantro. Cook onion in skillet. Add black beans and cook for just a minute. Then add the black beans and onion into the quinoa mixture. Set aside. Add spices and olive oil to the shrimps and mix well. Cook shrimps for a few minutes. Place quinoa mixture into bowl and add shrimps and toppings. Et voilà!

"You can do anything, but you can't do everything" 💗 Note to self....& maybe you can relate too? 💗 I used to feel that I needed to hide that I wasn't perfect (...erm ok...so I'm probably still learning) 💗 I've recently had to make some big business decisions. None of which I take lightly, but I must #followmygut with what feels right 💗 These little mantras are my pep talk & I thought I'd post here, in case you want to use one today 😁 ➡️ "whatever I have done, or have not done today, I am enough" (@brenebrown) ➡️ "you can do anything, but you can't do everything" (unknown) ➡️ "Breathe deep. Apart from glimpsing my long lost abs again 😂 my past few days of epic food poisoning 🤢 has really cemented what my health coach training taught me about CRAVINGS 🤓Cravings are a message of what our body rightly needs. Although of course mentally we can associate it with the wrong thing 🤔 I’m sick AF yet all I’ve felt like has been fries, halloumi & chocolate 🤣🍟🍫WTF! BUT this makes 100% sense, because my body is in need of SALT & SUGAR. Therefore my HEAD goes for what it thinks my body means when it screams “salts” and “sugar” 🤗 Similarly when we crave treats it can be because we are sad / lonely / stressed & our nervous system wants a dopamine or serotonin hit 😓 The craving is correct ✅ only the our perception of the craving is misguided, and is instead based on what we know to be an easy / quick way to get that need met 😝 whereas we would actually be better served by connection / sleep / a hug / intimacy etc. Your body knows what it needs to heal, it’s just a case of aligning our understanding & mind and body connection 😌 This is one of my favourite topics to coach clients on in the Healthstyle Emporium because it’s so challenging for all of us. So much so that we did an entire webinar based around Understanding Cravings! Time to rewatch me thinks 😜
