This was a giant set that @dominicsemenza put me through a while back and oh my gosh were my limits pushed! 😦🔥 If you notice, the weight is it not high on the first and last movements but the burn out was REAL! 👊🏼 . 🍑 Lying hamstring curl X 20 🍑 Heavy Hip Thrusts X20 🍑 Wide sumo squats (do not come all the way up) X 15-20 (near failure at this point of the giant set) . . Often get asked if lifting will make you “bulky.” Lifting will NOT make you bulky. Lifting helps build lean muscle which helps INCREASE your metabolic burn which means your body will burn MORE calories while at rest. . . In order to “bulk” you need to EAT and your rep ranges will be much lower. When training my legs, I try and do at least two heavy movements with my rep range around 8-10 to help with my growing of the peach. Otherwise I like the high rep range of 15-20 to increase my metabolic burn during that workout! 👌🏼 . . There is a lot to learn and we are all SO different! Day 3 ⚭ Today is my 3rd and final day of just juice and I’ll continue detoxing for the next 27 days w/ solid foods to clear my system ⚭ All of the info I’ve received on diet and how to help my skin, has been found online & IG. Killer Booty Exercises: Fire Walkers + Sumo Fire Walkers + Clamshells ☝︎🤸🏼‍♀️ ⋈ These are a few of my favourite booty exercises ♡ They are some of the few exercises that completely isolate and shape the booty. I love the fact that I can target my bum without the need for heavy weights 🏋🏼‍♀️ Don’t be fooled by their simplicity, they absolutely burn baby! 🔥 ⋈ The purchase of a resistance band is well and truly worth it for these few exercises alone 🙌🏻 Resistance bands are inexpensive and provide intensity and resistance without the need for weights. The exercises you can do with these babies are limitless! 🤸🏼‍♀️ Absolutely perfect for home workouts. ⋈ Try these exercises at home: ➲ Fire Walkers Place the band around your ankles. Keep your knee soft, core on, chest up, and shoulders back. Take a wide step out to one side and then bring both feet togethe. Repeat. ➲ Sumo Fire Walker Same as above except maintain a squatting position throughout. ➲ Clam Shells: Start lying on the floor on one side with your legs bent at around 90 degrees at the knees. Angle your thighs from your body at around 135 degrees. Keeping your hips stacked vertically on top of each other, hinge at the hip to bring the knee of your top leg up, opening your legs like a clamshell. Keep the heels touching each other, and squeeze the glutes to drive the movement. It’s very important not to let your pelvis roll backwards as you raise your upper leg. ⋈ ▸ I do 60 seconds on each side (i.e as many fire walkers or clamshells as I can squeeze into 60 seconds), alternating sides for 3 sets. You need a fairly wide space to step sideways for 60 seconds doing fire walkers. Sometimes I do them all the way down the end of my street and back 🙋🏼‍♀️ You could start with 30 seconds each side and progress. ▸ Alternatively you could count repetitions and aim for 20 - 50 reps each side as you get stronger. ▸ I usually do this 3 times a week as part of my lower body workouts. ▸ The Resistance band i’m using adds 9.7kg of resistance (heavy). You can purchase a light, medium, heavy & ultimate options. I recommend having 3 different strength versions for various exercises and progressions.
