Most gyms have hammer strength equipment! If you're lucky enough to have an incline hammer strength press, try this variation for delts! - Are you following the Daily Pump? This exercise is part of the workout that I'll be posting tomorrow on the site. Link in bio - Single arm shoulder press- Controlled negatives, explosive positives! Really cool way to hit the shoulders without having to focus on controlling/stabilizing a barbell or dumbbell 🙌 - Positioning yourself so on the stretch your hand is right in front of your delt and slightly to th side (just my preference) so as you press up the motion of the machine will make the grip go a little bit wider. - And before you knock it! Just look at the video, perfect range of motion, very similar to what you would be doing with a dumbbell or barbell movement! - Give this exercise a shot! Tag me in your story if you do. •Deadlifts: simple, yet effective. Don’t worry about dropsets, supersets, yadda yadda. Go with a weight that challenges you and stick to rep schemes of 1-10 (obviously taper your weight accordingly). Focus on keeping a neutral spine and neck and a straight bar path. It’s going to hit every muscle in your posterior chain: your butt included ladies! As your deadlift goes up, so will so many other aspects of your strength training (lat pulldowns, etc). •Overhead Press: a great movement to add weight to your bench press and overall strength that most people overlook. Works your chest, shoulders, core, glutes whole body really. Focus on keeping your glutes and core tight. Make sure your forearms are vertical when holding the bar, don’t have your grip too wide or too narrow and push straight overhead. You will have to move your head out of the way (obviously). •Bent over rows: a pretty staple movement for the back. an underhanded grip will target more of your lats and mid back while an overhanded grip will hit your upper back and traps more. Can’t go wrong with either. Focus on staying bent over, driving your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Try to just use your back and minimize other body movement (unless you’re overloading and doing heavier than normal). •Seated lateral raises: great for your medial delts. Focus on driving your elbows up. Pretty simple movement. •Curls for the girls: for da huge biceps, bro. Try not to rock and keep your elbows close to your sides. (And sorry the music cut out awk)
