Wish I had a picture of Myself and Stephen Shedd together, but this will have to do for now. At the age of 17, Stephen and I worked together for five years at my first art department job. Not only was he a talented artist, illustrator, musician, and storyteller, he was also an activist, mentor, brother, and friend. He introduced me to Soul on Ice, Ska, Roots, Funk, and so much more. Funny how I learned everything I needed to know about Black Pride from a White Guy. Thanks to him Everyday is 4:20 for me. Nope, not the dope, I don't smoke. John 4:20. Copy and repost a short story on your timeline, and let someone know how diversity and culture has helped you grow to be who you are today. Stephen Shedd would have would have been walking, marching, or actively DOING something if he were here today. What will you do? Educate, inspire and by every means necessary, keep living the dream. We can all get there together! If you agree comment and share with #erasethehate below. (E)rase the hate™ @estudionyc
