If you know me, you probably know how much I love this human. She is one of the funniest, strongest, wisest, and weirdest people I know, and I have the privilege of calling her my best friend. From 16 to 23, she has supported me and challenged me to be a better person, and I couldn't be prouder of her. Happy birthday Flippy, I'd be lost without ya. I miss you tons and please stay away from antlers.

H23BD to the only person who would drive me to get hungover District Doughnuts and drunk dance with me in Walgreens. Ily, Imy, + have a great day 🍻🎉 #ISayHomeGoods #YouSayImThere #HOMEGOODS #IMTHERE
Swingin into July like 🌇 #bloombergpicnic
This past year by the (vague) numbers: 500+ job applications,100+ rejection emails, 10+ phone/Skype interviews, 5 hiring assignments, 3 internships, 3 final round interviews, 2 amazing roommates, 1 full-time/part time waitressing job, 1 lovely Capitol Hill apartment, 1 tiring/stressful/hilarious/discouraging/encouraging/incredible year. ••• For five years, D.C. has captured my heart -- but somewhere along the way I decided I needed a new adventure. I genuinely hope that one day I will come back to this beautiful city, but for now, its time for something new. A week from today, I will be packing up my life and moving to New York City to pursue my dreams as a writer and strategist. I will be working in SoHo, as a Creative Assistant at Patients & Purpose, where I hope to learn the in's and out's of copywriting and advertising. Thank you for all of the amazing people who have helped me through this whirlwind of a year, and I can't wait to see what NYC will bring. "Adventure is out there!"
